Great Day...we picked Ann Marie up and off we went down the coastal Road to Stonehaven ..we had a great lunch at a Pub/Hotel our sweet Ann marie bought :)then we started walking along the boardwalk only to be sidetracked but stones left when the tide went out...I filled my pocket and had to make myself stop...found a piece of tide rolled glass very pretty...meeting folks along the way walking with there dogs the picture is of the one I thought was so cute he was retrieving stones big ones...we stopped at a small free museum run by these old guys they were so friendly I even had a dance with one :)
we then made our way to Dunnuttar Castle and had a good look around it...still a amazing sight when you first see it in the distance..the stone walkway so beautiful...I was I thrilled with the gulls who certainly called it there home......on to Delgatie Castle tomorrow
Oh I'm glad you took a close up of the ceiling in the dining room. It was beautiful.AM looks like she was enthralled by the stones. It must have been fun looking. The sidewalk looked so smooth.
