Last Day in Paris

Was our last full day in Paris today and it was a tough one ...we had a tour booked to Versailles ...so much walking I think miles we started at 9:30 and finished at 3:30 ...took the train to Versailles no problem there but the coming back was a different story when we went to return there was no train at that station as there had been a accident on that line and that was that it was closed for the day..so we walked to the next line that was a long way took us about 30 minutes of fast walking...as if I wasn't tired enough ! Got on the train which was the only one going to Paris...and then realized when we could see the Eiffel Tower a long ways in the distance we would need to change trains ...oh oh! So I asked the young lady sitting across from us and she was just the sweetest person...she wrote everything out for us, we had to change trains twice...and told us she would show us to the first train as it was on her way home...her husband and little baby were waiting at the line for her and we all walked to the next train ...so very sweet of her. Yesterday was the dinner cruise it was good the food delicious lots to drink and Lovely to eat and view the passing scenery at the same time....we had a singer with a beautiful voice also ...quite nice ....service was quite slow to start ...oh! Well. still a good time ....Marseilles tomorrow by train....
