Wednesday Royal Exchange,Bank of England,Borough Market and Tower Bridge

We sure put on the miles yesterday....it was really great we went by train to the center of London so many tall and unusual buildings the Lloyd's of London being the most ugly on the outside it has all the big tubes on the outside with the wiring etc. and the lifts on the outside it was really bad looking apparently it is beautiful inside but privet no entry for us Ha!
as well along with the older ones made it so very interesting indeed, we started the day at the Royal Exchange Security at the doors, once inside the center is a beautiful atrium restaurant , surrounded on the outer walls by very expensive shops .we had a great breakfast and freshly brewed coffee ...a bit funny I couldn't understand the waitress thought it was a strange English Accent ...Ha! She was a foreigner and truly I could hardly understand her and I think she me, food was delicious! I started taking a few pictures and took one of a jewellery store and the security immediately came over to tell me no pictures of the shops but I could take all I wanted of the building, what fun. Next was the Bank of England Museum a free tour through the building lots of displays very old documents very interesting...then we were off to Borough Market such a amazing place food shops at every turn all the tantalizing smells drawing us in for tastes...yes of course we ate again Ha! And a drink in a little bar to fortify us for the outside and Tower Bridge ....gosh! We walked so much but didn't even notice how far we had gone until Alan pointed across the River Thames to where we had started. The tour of the Bridge was so much fun, saw how it was built and the workings of the steam powered lifts for the bridge....we stopped at Southark Cathedral first foundation was erected in 1066 rebuilding began in 1520 so beautiful inside....and of course ate again in the market and another pub stop before the train home...Great Day!
